About the Author/Illustrator
Iny S. Stephenson is a Singaporean who moved to the United States with her American husband, Jeff and their son, JK in spring of 2017. Before moving to the States, she travelled the world with her husband and son, and lived in parts of Asia and Middle East. If she were to choose a place to settle for the rest of their years, it would be either Bali or Cambodia. Currently residing in North Florida, in a small town by Tallahassee, she loves gardening, home decorating and baking. Writing and drawing is another way, of her channeling her love for beauty and creation on paper.
In Summer of 2019, she adopted a black labrador and named her CherBear. Since then, CherBear has been a good friend to her son, JK.

In Spring 2021, Jack and Pip was created out of doodles she did back in winter of 2020. Those doodles led to a conversation with her husband about turning the characters into a story. A storyboard was formed, and 8 months later, the stories and illustrations were completed.
Jack and Pip are best friends. Similar to her husband and her, JK and Cherbear. Though they each have opposing personalities, somehow they learn to blend those personalities together. Going on adventures and solving problems are the bedrock of their friendship.
She hoped that readers young and old alike find the characters amusing and relatable, and will always have each of their own Jack and Pip.
